Picture Time

Here's some pictures finally! He's got four teeth now and he likes laughing and showing them off. He crawls in many directions but usually pivoting in one spot. He has learned to crane his neck and peek around corners. He finds peek - a - boo quite funny and he seems to have a facination with the designs on my parents couch. We went visiting at Grandpa Davison's farm market in Vernon to see the pumpkins and shoot a couple of pictures. Next year he'll enjoy the carriage ride to the pumpkin patch with all the other kids. He got to sit in his grandpa's Bel Air tool box and he loved it. I took video of it and he's laughing it up. I'd love to put it up on the site but it takes up too much bandwidth so everyone will have to be satisfied with pictures for now. The picture of Darren driving with grandpa was taken at the top of the Coquihalla Hwy.

Drina came down with her two children, Jacob and Jayne. Jayne is 13 days younger than Darren. He goes all crazy when other little people are around him. He's a nut sometimes.

Next week I'm off to Reno with my brother and father. Darren is sleeping over at Granny's for the first time in his life. What a lucky guy he is? Wish me luck!

Thanksgiving

This morning I got a surprise! His top two teeth are coming in. This also explains why he woke up at midnight crying last night. Our Thanksgiving was very tasty and satisfying. Mom is a great cook and the desserts were to die for. Darren slept through dinner which was fine for me. He was all over his 3rd cousin, Braedyn, because she's a little person and he loves everything about little people. He wanted to touch/clutch her hair and taste her clothes and when he wants something he goes for it. Of course it doesn't help the person holding him but somehow we manage to hold onto him when he lunges for something. He crawls backwards now and not frontwards but he'll find that maybe going ahead instead of behind might be more beneficial one day. I have lots of pictures of him but no time to put them up. We have been doing our own landscaping and we are preparing the front yard for laying sod. It is back breaking work and we are exhausted. Darren and I are spending more time this week in Vernon. It's time to spend more money at the consignment shops.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!
