Birthdays and stuff
Darren got his first birthday invitation from Hailey. They all sat on a blanket and played like good little children should. He loved knowing he wasn't the only person his height in the world and he learned some new tricks. Like that bottle drinking is ok to do and that there really is stuff in the bottle that other people drink. He was fussy before the party and now he's drinking like it's going out of style. He liked touching their faces and feeling their clothes and he laughed at them lots. He's so funny sometimes.
We bought him a toy we like to call the flying saucer. He's very happy with this toy because he can sit or stand on his own and he can twirl around and see any side of the room he wants with ease. This toy was the best thing we ever bought so far because I can leave the room now without worrying he'll fall out of it or something. We got it at a consignment shop in Vernon along with some clothes for winter.
The other pictures are self-explanitory and the one's that look professional aren't. I took them at my cousin Norman's house. That red background is his couch. But it looks professional doesn't it? His olive skin is noticeable now. Thank god he has his dad's skin and not mine.
