That looks different! He says he uses it to go to the gym. Thing is, I thought you go to a gym to get fit. Instead of riding a battery powered bike, If he rode a bike he had to pedal then he wouldn't have to go to the gym to get fit! He hasn't really thought that through has he

Not familiar with your post system...
Have an 855, want to find a home for -- looking for ~ $100 US Dollars. Info below:

ProFlex 855 Frame -- All parts, except: wheelset/cluster & seat/seat post
Excellent condition -- front & rear suspension need upgrade *

PARTS, attached, excellent condition:
Shimano XT: F/R derailleurs & shifters, full brakes, clipless pedals, seat clamp.
DiaCompe Aheadset, BB & bar unknown (good Al part), Sugino rings/cranks, Girvin bar-ends
Need: wheelset w/ rear cluster & seat/seat post, and then...
you have a ready-to-ride, classic, full suspension bike!

HISTORY: bought bike in 2000. Sold as floor model / test bike, with very low miles by Nestor's Sporting Goods (Allentown, PA). Folks there seemed honest; I took them for their word. I put about 500 miles on bike, 1/3 road, 1/3 towpath, 1/3 off-road. Little wear; bike worked perfectly. I had a friend, a high-end industrial welder, and hobby bike frame builder, inspect the welds. Visually look good.

I'm cleaning the basement; really don't need another bike --
just want to find a good home, and let ol' ProFlex ride again...!

I have a proflex 455 for sale. It has all working parts and has been checked out by a local bike shop that says it's ride worthy. I am asking $500 or best offer.

Looking to restore a newly acquired '98 k2 4000. Trying to source in particular a front derailleur 2/8 top swing/bottom pull 31.8 (XT preferred) and a rear Noleen shock. I pay PayPal. Also looking for any parts that I may keep as a spare, as I plan to keep this bike for a looooong time! Crosslink, swingarm etc... (I know it's a shot in the dark, but there's no harm in asking).
