Rode to the local brewery and picked up a couple Growlers  ;D

Cool! Great to see a PRO~FLEX being used in anger!

I used to pull a child trailer behind my bike................no kids..............but the local discount superstore used to do some blinding special deals on beer by the case!

Have not had a chance to ride much lately, but went on vacation to the Kern River in California, and brought the old bike. Found a trail and rode some of it.

Did 3 days straight of riding as the temps were somewhere about 105 degrees F. in the afternoon. On the third day I rode out of cell phone range and thought to head back. Good thing too as on the last hill back to camp I broke the Flextem on the right side. Not bad for 25 years old. Got some fixin to do.  :o

Shocking! send it back to Girvin for a warranty replacement, you just can't trust stuff to last like it did in the good old days....................<GRIN>

But I replaced the faulty "s" that was on it, for you for free!

The sun was shining and my daughter was bored so we went for a ride around the village. She's got a Ridgeback but it only has 12" wheels so she struggles to keep up. To be fair she is only 3 years old! So she rides shotgun on the 957 family bike..!

I had a day off today so I went for a long ride. Started off as my usual loop but the sun was out and I was enjoying the OZx. In all I was out for 4 hours and had to come back as I ran out of water!

This is a lovely fast and swoopy section at the top of one mountain before you drop down to join the next.

And this is what greets you when you get into the forestry on the other side. Lots of roots and mud, loads of fun!

"Family Bike"?  Are you suggesting you get the whole family on it?  How may is that... four or five people plus the dog??  8) ;D

I took the 857 on the road with me a month ago for a short business trip, because it's easier to break down and hide in my trunk than my newer Giant... and I wanted to give it some exercise.

I had an evening to kill in Harrison Hot Springs so asked the front desk where I might head for an hour or two.  The desk clerk gave me a photocopy of a crude single line map of the area with a couple of trails noted.  I decided on a loop that looked like it might be a little challenging (it's mountainous there!) and set off.  Everything else was really aimed at elderly tourists wanting a short stroll...

I found the single track trail, and made a start up the first hill... then a nice downhill run which I went down way too fast, a sweeping turn and - uh-oh - the trail was almost obliterated by a grove of giant leafed plants.  Frick!  Devil's Club!

I went through most of it before I could stop.  Ouch.  Turned around, gingerly retreated and worked my way out to the road.  And did a dozen km or so on the pavement instead.

For those who aren't familiar with Devil's Club, the underside of the leaves and the stems grow nasty spikes.  I came out looking like I'd been stuffed in a sack with an angry tom cat...  ::)

No pictures of me or the bike, but one from along the way...

Nice photo..................
Thanks!  Cell phone, Snapseed and upload to Instagram... all while trying to catch my breath from going too hard on the pavement.  The best camera is the one you have with you...  ;D

UK is getting a nice bit of sunshine at the moment so I took this photo on my ride tonight. The city below is Cardiff, my home. The water is the Bistol Chanel with Weston Super Mare on the other side. My house is the one on the left near the water...

It certainly is!

The house with the Blue door or the one with the Red door?

Just got back from a spin through the Northamptonshire countryside on my XP-X in high speed tourer mode, 32 miles at 15.5 MPH Average.
