I see your point. I've got one or two of each but they are all spec'ed different.
Why don't you start a build thread for your 957. I'd really like to see the progress with the frame .

Here's a picture of my 757 out in the trail in my town.  This is property converted from the old RCA tower fields used for long range radio transmissions to Europe after WW1.  My bike is leaning up against one of the exposed footing from the towers.

This bike is mostly stock, after I bought life conspired to turn me away from the cycling world for a while.  It's unfortunate because the bike, when you consider usage, is practically new.  I had probably only used the bike for 100 miles or so.  It is now suffering from a lot of age related issues though.  You might note the new saddle, new pedals, but what you can't see well is the sheen of shock oil that was leaking out on the rear shock during this ride.

This is actually my ride from last week.  Today, I took out the older 252 today for a little road exercise.  The wind was so strong I refused to stop in fear that I wouldn't have the will to get back on the bike again.  Next time I have 252 I'll make sure I get nice shot.

Sounds like that rear shock needs a rebuild. Once the seals go there's nothing else you can do with it. Sweet looking ride though.

Took my new toy out for a shakedown and loved every minute. Forks set to 130mm here just to try it out. Brakes are awesome!

On Sunday I took the older 252 out for a little ride.  I snapped this shot just outside of Nikola Tesla's lab.  The poorly lit statue you can see is the new statue of Tesla.  Further off in the back, behind the trees is the unrestored building that Tesla worked in.

Anyway.  I purchased this bike new as a compromise. I preferred riding on the road, everyone I rode with were into mountain bikes.  I consider this bike the gateway drug into the Profile world, it was really a great, do everything hybrid.  I still ride this often enough as it still a fun little knock-about.

nice.......  well, I took this bad girl out for a couple mile spin down the road today now that it's finished.... I didn't want to over-do it as I'm still recovering from breaking my right ankle in 3 places on 2/25....at least it's strong enough for some easy riding currently :)

ProFlex 1996 756
1998 K2 Proflex 4500 custom

That looks awesome! It's been a long time since carbon bikes have been en vogue but it seems they are all the fashion at the moment. I think every one should have at least one   ;)

Don t start me off I would love to have one and esp after seeing these two cracking examples would love to see one with my 4000 and Beast. Love seeing the old proflex as well in my opinion Proflex do not get enough credit for starting  full suspension bikes( as long as my facts are correct ?)

I wish Proflex would start making bikes again

Well, I moved back to Utah last year (from New York), and I've been too busy to ride much, but my brother and I did get out on Memorial Day for a nice morning ride behind Mount Timpanogos. Did 2700 feet of vertical climbing and a whole lot more downhill than that, all on beautiful singletrack trails. Doesn't get any better than this! Both on 5000s. (He rides my spare when he's in town). Both bikes still going strong.
