ProFlex 857 Way Big purple frame, swingarm & Noleen shock FOR SALE! (SoCal)
« Reply #453 on: January 02, 2009, 11:44:39 am »
I have a ProFlex 857 that I rode frequently for 2 years then hung it up in my warm dry SoCal garage when I upgraded the frame to a K2 ProFlex 5000. It is a size "Way Big" in Purple with a Noleen shock with a NB2-350 black spring and a beautiful carbon fiber swing arm.

Yes, the paint has a couple of nicks and scratches from riding but otherwise in good shape.

I'm located in Southern California (Newport Beach).

8 digital pictures available upon request.

Don

K2 ProFlex 5000
5" F & R travel
Avid mechanical disc brakes... AWESOME!
HammerHead rear disc brake bracket
Fox Vanilla (downhill) shock (rear)
Rock Shox Recon 3" to 5" fork with remote lockout
Chris King hubs & headset
Shimano XT shifters, gears & derailleur
Mavic 317DISC wheels
WTB MutanoRaptor folding tires
Easton carbon fiber seat tube & handlebar
ProFlex / K2 rider since 1996   ;D

please personalise your profile a little bit...dosnt have to be to exact if you are worried about your identity, and if you havent done so lready consider hiding your email.
If you have posted before did you have an alternate identity? ..or couldnt you find that either(woops)We have had some spamming issues,so i have been known to delete hundreds of "members"...one of the feilds i look for is something in your profile that makes you stand out form the bots which dont normally have any info at all...if you can have something specific to this site it makes it easer still(say a ref to K2/proflex (model/info in your sig or name or something).
If i am responsible for deleting your previous identity(and post along with it) i sincerely apologise.....welcome!

Risse Genesis, Main frame 856s, strut, swing arm
« Reply #462 on: January 24, 2009, 01:38:30 pm »
Parting out some 856 spare parts including some pretty big hitters:

Risse Genesis .  According to the Risse rep will work with both cone and flat strut.  I have it on the cone strut right now and it works great.  In almost new condition.  Black with light grey lettering.  Not a scratch on it.  I have lubed it with finish line sanction lube after every ride Holds forever.  Ride tuned to Florida technical trails.  Will provide extra air valve, freedom plate adapter and 2 fixing bolts.  $125 buyer pays actual shipping.

856 main frame Medium matte silver color.  In Excelent condition very few scratches on this one.  You will be hard pressed to find a frame this old in this good condition.  $60 buyer pays actual shipping.

856 main frame Large in matte silver color.  In great condition (not quite as nice as the m size but scratches are few and far between). $40 buyer pays actual shipping.

Both frames were ridden by skinney women before me and I never rode the large other than in the parking lot.  I rode the medium 1 x at Syllamo in Arkansas and 6 times locally.

856 strut in great shape $25 buyer pays actual shipping

856 swingarm in great shape $35 buyer pays acutal shipping

I will give a 10% discount to any combined items.

I am parting these because I got a 130mm fork for Christmas and it is time to move on to more travel.

Pics are located here http://www.flickr.com/photos/11178241@N02/with/3225874419/ and I recommend clicking the slide show and full page it. The swing arm is still attached to the Medium frame.  I will check my messages on this site daily and put these up on ebay in a week or so.

International Friends The bad news is freight to the UK is awful pricey.  The good news is my wife works for a catalog company and she gets discounted shipping.  I just do not know how much it would be before they ship it.  I would need the initial cost transferred to Paypal then I will disassemble and send it to work with her.  She will find the price for shipping, I will message you the cost, once the shipping price is transferred the bike goes out.

If I ship it in 3 parts, maybe 2 I would think it would be considerably less than the freight for the wole.  Either way what ever they charge me with, I will bill to you through paypal, nothing more, nothing less.

No measurement listed (that I know of)  but I would be happy to get out the measuring tape if it would help.  Just let me know the exatct measurement you want  :)
