Hi Chris, \did a total refurbish on the frame, cleaned it, sanded it and gave it 4 layers of clearcoat, in satin

Bob I thought it looked good! I've heard of people laquering/clear coating these frames. Id like to do do same to mine as it has quite alot of scratches. What grade paper did you use to rub it down and what clear coat was it you use? A two pack? Did you add a plasticiser to the clear coat to keep it flexible or in theory it shouldn't have needed it?

Hey Terry - here are some pics of my Proflex 857 for sale. It's marked as a Large frame. I saw on ebay recently that someone sold just the frame and suspension and I'd be willing to break the bike down like that if that's what someone wanted. I'll post two pics here and two on the next post.

That is one of those Chinese knockoffs that a Spanish company marketed. You can buy the frames on Ebay all day long.
