Sorry No

All the evo and 4500/5500 carbon swingarms are the same its just that some later evo's
had a new pivot system in the frame (needle bearings) the same swingarm was used but with adaptors
now used for the needle bearings in the swingarm instead of the bushes.

To be honest Kiwi I'm not totally sure I just know the later frames had needle bearings and if memory serves me right didn't some frames have square tubing ? Not sure if its the earlier or later frames,ProflexGB had one.

Attached is a picture of my evo 4.0 with the needle bearing frame.  When I serviced my swing arm, I only changed the bearings.  I didn't touch the pivot arm (Rod), or seals.  If anyone has an extra kit they would like to sell.  Please let me know. :)

Being painfully ignorant of the needle bearing setup, and too lazy to take mine apart, what kind of seal is it? And are there no thrust bearings? If I knew, I am sure substitutes could be conjured up.

I'm not sure what a thust bearing is.  ???  As for the seals it was pretty basic.  It appeared to be a thin rubberized washer inside/outside a metallic one.

Wow, that's not a 4000 or 5000.  After K2 too the Proflex name off I was to the Navy and lost interest anyway.  I live in Maine and part of their appeal was that the bikes were disgned and built in New England, not the fire roads of Claifornia.  Either way, I remember the the Aluminum counter parts to the carbon bikes, the 4000 and 5000, did have square down tubes.  That bike is definately NOT one of those.  I never really new about the Evo's.  Were they a good evolution, or crap?  And did the Oz's get the same needle bearing treatment?

I'm in Maine also.  I have nothing positive to say about my EVO.  I had the bike out this afternoon, and I am quite happy with how it performs.  With the Swinger 3 air, there is little pedal bob.  The bike as pictured weighs in at 29.5 lbs.

Ok, those are somewhat of a thrust bearing. The rubber slides around the metal washers, and the pivot somewhat floats against the rubber? Seems logical, but do you lube the rubber?

The Evo was good (very good).
No Oz didn't ever get the needle bearing treatment.
