It just missed the girders. The '49 is a ridgid rear/tele front and the '52 is plunger rear/tele front. Both have sprung saddles, so cool. Ive given the '52 to my dad as Ive no more room in my workshop. He's got loads of old brits in his but didnt turn down one more!
Old bikes, engines or not, you cant beat 'em!

Hi, new boy here with my first post.

I have a pair of Girvin Vector 2 forks, and I could do with both the RK0005 and RK0006 (is that too many 0's?) service kits. I have found plenty on ebay and a couple of online sellers, but I'm in the UK and people either don't respond to my e-mails or I get quoted silly shipping prices (try $104 for 2 qty RK0005 kits!).

Does anyone have either of the kits (especially the 5) for sale, or can you point me in the direction of a shop in the UK, or one in the US that would be happy to send a jiffy bag to the UK?

I'm finished with my new 855. It rides like a Cadillac. Thing is its only a 14" frame and fits me kind of small. Anyone interested purchasing in a 14" 855 Frame and chain stay only? I'd be open to trade for a larger frame or larger different model frame of equal value. Having trouble posting photos so email me if interested and I'll shoot you the pics.

Greetings everyone, I've just got myself a 856 and XPX both in large, the 856 is silver and the XPX is Red, both need rear shocks or something like an adaptor plate to enable me to use standard shocks, the question is, can anybody help?
