I'd say that point was somewhere around yer bum hole, unfortunately............

anyway- I've got a set of RDS elastomers for double stack (555, but will fit other types) which I'll never use, so up for sale, £15 posted to UK, bit more for US/Overseas- I'll get a postage price for any overseas folks interested.
They is black, and are again quite firm- Callum recommended they need a breaking in period. Been fitted to the bike, but never ridden- silicone lubed, so they're more or less as new, just need softening up to get the full damping pleasure.............
I'll get pics and measurements of them termorrer or so.

I bought this bike around 2000 brand new and got 4 easy rides on it before it went into storage until now. I have dug around the forum and can't seem to find a value for a similar bike. Could someone point me in the direction of a value guide or just be kind and give me an idea of what to ask for it?

It's pretty much mint with no damage at all.

Nice,
a good way is to look on ebay. Do the search & click on completed listings to see what they have sold for. As well as condition it's also about the bike spec. You can't see the front & rear mechs from your picture. What are they? XT, XTR? Wheels, hubs, rims? Mavic? Those cranks aren't original are they?
Some parts can really enhance the value.
Other people on here will know much better than me, but you will be looking upwards of £400 depending on your local market.
Certainly if you can pack it up & post it then your value will increase.

An even better idea, dust it off & ride it!

Added some more pictures to the Gallery. It's Raceface cranks, XT components, Avid Brakes, that's all I can remember.

It's all about presentation on ebay. Clean and polish everything. Take lots of pictures with close-ups and keep the focus sharp. Play with lighting too. Then work on the descriptive text as well. Find really good stuff, cut and paste and then re-edit to fit your sale. Then review the pictures and text a bunch of times to get it right.

$600 to $800 would be a good guess.

The golden items on your bike are the brakes, smartshock, and cranks. You might want to consider selling them separate.
