Here's something I've not seen before...a 857 'Test-Ride'? Don't know if it's legit, or the bike just has some silly sticker on it, but it does look to be in pretty nice shape from the pix...

"Test Ride" is legit- but not that rare- my 857 is one, and I've seen probably about half a dozen others. Dinnae like them decals anyway!!
Still, looks like good condition and spec, if ye are considering bidding for it.

That and 'factory test'. my 855 has 'shimano' in big white lettering on the top tube near the seat post - again unusual but not unknown.

I've got one of the multi-adjustable (full open through locked out) air shocks that is in like new condition. It came off an x57 frame, I don't know if it fits any others.

1. Answers to questions;

Yes, it is an Astro5. Yes, I will ship to overseas, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii et cetera. I have never used the shock; it was purchased for a build that didn't happen. It holds air and doesn't leak in its current off-bike position. It looks "like new" but was purchased used; from speaking with the seller I would have to say that it was used very, very little.

I don't know the answer, but I will see if my mate with an 857 is home. I can try fitting a noleen NR4 to an 855. Should be the same thing.

Still got my K2 carbon frame for sale. Didn't sell last time due to going away with work. It's had a repair done by the composite bay where I work and has be faultless. Yours for £150 + P+P.

Hi Dom.

This would be for your home made OZ?. You were talking about selling the swinger last year when I bought the rear shock from you. So any 4500 style swinger will fit.

1996, 16” (40.6cm) medium (good if your around 5’8”), XT derailers, XTR brakes, Mavic 220 UB control wheelset with Deore LX hubs, ODS (silver oil damping shocks), original Sugino cranks 175mm. Mounted a pair of cheap Geax easy rider tires to ride 17 mile loop in Carmel. I took this in trade when a customer could not pay his bill. I tried to ride it but at 6’2”/215lbs it is way too small. It had never been ridden when I received it in 2006. I attempted to ride it for 3 months/ 2-3x per week. Girlfriend rode it 3 times. It has been collecting dust for 4 years. I will throw in extra set of used maxxis ignitors, seat bag and bottle cage. I am located in Upland, CA. I don't know what it is worth so make an offer.

the attack frame on ebay would have been a great deal, But I'm on a budget and the price after a few bids plus shipping was a little more than I could do. is there any one here who has the ebay name p***l ? that might have a frame for sale in a few days? lol
