The look fournales fork shock is an air shock with adjustable compression/ rebound damping with a small elastomeric mount which gives a little shock absorption . Fournales in france still services these shocks although they are expensive

I tempt fate but the seals seem ok on my forks ( i'm looking for some wood to touch as i write!)

I'm not sure but i think it may cost 140 euros for a service. Not cheap. You'd buy this fork to keep a proflex looking similar to the original design brief but having linkage forks and to save serious weight. But to be honest if its suspension performance that you are focused on then current telescopic forks have then beaten on most counts...

You need a COR spring upgrade from Callum at RDS:

If you already have ODS shocks, then this is the best (and pretty much only) way to go!
£70 for a pair and the $/£ rate is good for you at the mo'!
Unfortunately, he's broken his arm and so won't be selling anything for a little while!

I dont have ods system.I've read that Noleen has a complete replacement NR-1 or NR-2.I think that would be the best/cheapest alternative?Finding one is my problem!!!

Does anyone have a shock and spring replacement for my Vector 2?At this point anything is better that my rock hard elastometers that have seemed to have shrunk causing looseness in the fork when I lift the front end off the ground.Quite unpleasant to ride.Thank you

go to www.rapiddescentscotland..co.uk - they have spring upgrades for the ODS (oil damped) Vectors or elastomers for the friction damped earlier models. Very good they are too

Source for 756 rear strut assembly?

Hoping I might find a lead here...I've got an opportunity to pick up a 756 frameset for basically nothing. Everything looks and feels to be in great shape, but it is missing the entire rear strut assembly. Anybody have one for sale or know of a good place to look (besides ebay)?

I'd like to build this up as a third bike (the only dual suspension) and can be patient, but I dont know whether or how often these might become available.

Just spotted a gem, an xp8 in reasonable condition! the elastomers are probably solid but overall great starting point . Now how do i justify buying another one?

Hey guys,
I've got an 856 size "big" for sale.
It has a rear disc brake mount welded to the swingarm, a cartridge bearing pivot, and an oil damped Noleen spring.
I'll throw in a seatpost, BB, and OEM crankset if you like. For another $40, I'll throw in an SR Suntour 5" travel DirtJump fork.
