is this one of the last UK distributor bikes? :-) ultrasport uk was the name of the uk importer that is (is still?) based at Long Eaton in Nottingham, UK, it is also famous for distribution of windsurfers.

are there any spare proflex parts left in nottingham in the warehouse? There is a real need for all sorts of spare parts.

Found in Pittsboro, NC, USA:

ProFlex 755 at Pittsboro Habitat Store

The Habitat for Humanity store in Pittsboro has a ProFlex 755 FS MTB. They don't quite know what it is, or how to price it, so I thought I would see if anybody here remembers anything. ( I hope that this doesn't violate the Important Rules...)

It is an older full suspension bike, kinda cool in a retro sort of way...
Here is what I can tell from looking at it:

- age: unknown
- size: unknown, but the frame is quite small
- Girvin Vector front suspension (not a fork, a linkage)
- the elastomers are gone from both the front and rear suspension (never had springs or shocks, just elastomers)
- 24 speed
- Vee brakes
- Deore LX components
- DiaComp brake levers
- grip-crapers
- possibly Mavic wheels, but I can't remember, so not certain

The bike is clean, paint is in good shape, but it looks like it hasn't been used in a long time. It is still in the back room and not out on the sales floor.

If you have advice about the bike or what it is worth, post here and I will pass the information to them (or contact them directly).

I have a Vector 2 fork with rock hard elastometers.Want to replace with spring and shock system.Not able to pay 200$ for aftermarket unit.Looking for something much more affordable.If anybody has something that would fit my fork for sale,please send me a line at big_steph666@hotmail.com.Thank you

You need a COR spring upgrade from Callum at RDS:

If you already have ODS shocks, then this is the best (and pretty much only) way to go!
£70 for a pair and the $/£ rate is good for you at the mo'!
Unfortunately, he's broken his arm and so won't be selling anything for a little while!

i am trying to locate 2 carbon fork legs for the girven forks for a proflex 957.anyone know if there is anything for sale out there.

They come up fairly regulary on ebay. I picked up a complete fork a few months back. It needs a rebuild on the linkages but the leg are fine. You just have to keep a look out.

Has any one got a spare NB2-250 spring they want to sell.
I have a NB2-300 on my 857 at the moment and I feel its a bit over sprung. Its fine when im riding with a full backpack but doesnt really move much when im riding with out.
My 4000 has a NB175-500 and the ride is faultless. Ive checked in my owners manual the NB175-500 is the equivalent of a NB2-250 which is right for weight, so thats the one I need.
Anyone pleeeeease?

I just spotted some girvin vector 2 forks on ebay, a bit of a rarity these days but still a find esp if you are after the original set up on your proflex or after parts. I would be interested but I already have a spare set!! see the link below:

I've got a Proflex 656 is great condition except for the elastomers. I've contemplated buying some from www.rapiddescentscotland.co.uk but I'm thinking of selling it as is. I thought someone in this forum would be interested. I got it from an uncle, and it was barely ridden.
