Hi guys...
I'm restoring a 856, all looking good, just need a small Proflex part to allow me to use the cantilever brakes I have....I need a rear brake hanger, the part that locates into the back of the alloy swinging arm to hold the cable centrally in position and act as the cable stop.
Has anyone got one to sell / swap or give away ?

As promised... Sorry it's dirty, my son put it away dirty.

Any how it's a Chubby Fork, LX front derailleur, crank set, seat post, seat clamp, cable guides and what ever you want to pay to ship. Wheel set doesn't go with it though. I'm using them for another project bike. No reasonable offer refused. I won't break it up unless I get a buyer for the frame and fork.

Stratos Strata rear air shock.

Fits the style of swingarm strut that has the flat area for the lower end of the shock, 855 I think. Does not look like it has ever been mounted, or if it was it was barely used. No marks on the shaft. Put air in it several months ago and still holding fine. Has control for lockout but I do not have of the hardware for that so you are on your own there. I got it a few years ago on Ebay for a spare but it is time to move it own. Length from flat area to center of upper hole is approx. 7 5/8" or 193mm. Weight is approx. 11oz or 300 grams with my el-cheapo scale. Played with shipping through the US post Office, to the UK would be right around $50. Don't recall what I paid for it (getting old really hurts) so how about $50 plus shipping?

Sold.

Anyone who is a Proflex lover, please save this bike from a person who thinks a WalMart special is better than buying the Proflex Beast above! Make me an offer, I'd rather see a person who can appreciate this bike get it. Instead of a dumb@$s who doesn't know quality when it hits them in the face.

Hi guys.

I have decided to part out my Oz and sell the frame here. It's the same bike that's in my gallery.

It has Mike "Hammer" decals "Proflex 959" decals, a Hammerhead rear disc brake adapter, the BB will stay in the bike it's a Shimano XT octalink and the Chris King headset, seat post clamp and a Hopey steering adapter. The Noleen Nr-2 needs a recharge. I can send detail pics to any who are interested. The bike was built up in 2000.

I don't know haw many miles are on the bike as it's been hanging in my garage for the better part of the last 8 years. Best guess is under 500 miles.

I'd like $600 because of the bits that are included. Shipping will be UPS. I'll absorb some of the cost so add $25 for shipping and I'll insure it to cover my butt. Drop a message here if interested. I probably won't be checking everyday.

I have a large Proflex 957 frame for sale. I've not ridden it since 2007, and it deserves a better home than my basement.

I am the original owner. There are two dents in the top tube, one one each side, where the fork hit it, before I added a rubber bumper. The bike had another 9 years of riding after that.

It has a carbon fiber swing arm. When I stopped riding it, everything was in great shape, except for the fork. The fork is dead. You can't use it. One of the lugs has receded into the carbon fiber leg.

I'll be setting up an ebay entry soon, but wanted to give y'all a heads up in recognition of the help I've gotten over the years.

I wonder if there is any way of repairing the dents in the top tubes? Could they be pulled out in any way? The frame needs a lot of tidying up any way but those dents really spoil it. I've got a 757 with very small dents there but those are big!

Hello folks,
any interest in a completely standard Proflex 656 (Factory Test) in very good condition.
Looking for £140 + postage, will post anywhere at buyers cost.

Size 18" or 47.5 on the frame decal.

All the bearings and bushings are very good, the bike has seen very little use judging by the chain rings/brakes.
Looks to have been stored badly due to numerous scratches on the frame - still if its a resto project then this is could be the one.
If there is no interest, then its off to 'Thiefbay' followed by breaking for spares.

The elastomers are of course finished - as usual!

I brought it as a project a few years ago but never got started, I ride my 5500 so I'll make do with that :-)
