Length of Girvin Forks
« on: June 16, 2004, 08:35:42 pm »
Probably an easy question for someone.

What is the length of the girvin forks from the bottom of the head tube to the wheel hub?

I'm now looking for replacement forks (my 955 always had manitou comps on it) for my rebuild and I want to try and keep the geometry as it should be.

I don't think it will matter other than improving the handling of the bike. But the Fox and Manitous are close as you will get.....

While I was regularly riding the bike I had swapped to a set of marzochhis that felt like they had slackened the head angle a bit too much.

I guess I will shop around a bit. My other option is to just swap my Fox 80RL's between bikes but that seems to  be a bit of a pain.
