Anyone know what this frame is worth?  Someone replied a posting and wants to sell me a 98 for $100 with risse rear shock.  Hope he isn't reading this, he might give me a subjective answer.  Anyway i am going to check it out tommorow, so i'll see what this thing is.  I have never heard of this model.  I know it's a single pivot.  Is it worth building?

My buddy had a Tazmon. Pretty sure it has 3" of rear travel and was spec.d for an 80mm fork. It is a pretty nice frame. I think it would make a good XC bike but It lacks the travel that most newer frames sport. I considered doing a Tazmon build but didn't like the short travel or lack of disc brake mounts. What size frame is it? There was a guy in Fremont selling one a while back w/ a Risse. I too ride in the Bay Area.

Just like an EVO is spec'd w/ a 4" fork the Tazmon comes w/ a 3" fork. Running a 4" fork will slacken the head angle.
