957 vs. Superlight

just boght a santa cruz superlight frame....how will this frame compare to my 957?
To me they both look similar in design...one main pivot at about the same location.(air shock vs. coil though)
any input on the differences of these 2 frames would be great.

Howdy,
Not sure how the ride will compare to the 957, I have a friend who rides a superlight, and he claims it it the best.
What was the original retail price of the 1997 957?
thanks,
tg

the superlight will climb a little better and it won't put undue stress on the shock shaft.
they are pretty similar performing frames.
there are a TON of superlights out there and few 957's. so the cool factor is much higher with the 957...IMHO
when you build the frame up, let us know your feelings
