torque amounts
« on: August 22, 2003, 05:01:46 am »
I just got my Park torque wrench and I am putting in a new BB on my OZM and is it me or is 250 in pounds not seem like its very tight?   It take absolutly nothing to tighten it to that amount nothing at all.    Am I doing something wrong?   It seems light the BB should be A HELL of a lot tighter then the torque wrench is telling me.  I use to just crank it down with a socket wrench and I mean really crank it down and now it seems like I could probably remove the cups with just the tool and no wrench.

oops  - sorry me - I was not paying attention - thats the torque amount for the main pivot and not the BB.
