99 K2 900
« on: August 13, 2003, 12:25:16 am »
Does anyone have a K2 900 that they can share info about?  I'm looking at buying a frameset that the seller has the coil shock and a Risse shock for.  Are there any pecularities about this model that I should know about before I buy this and start building it up?

If I'm not mistaken, it's basically the same frame as like the 4000 and 5000, right?

Any info is much appreciated.  Thanks!!  :)

who knows what the weight of the frame is?  where might i find that?  i've looked through past owner's manuals, the reviews on mtbr already...where else can i look?  I'm hoping it's less than my Beast -- it would have to be-- but the folks on the reviews were saying it's too heavy to race.  Granted weight is relative.  I race the Beast in 12/24 hr races and hold my own pretty well but I don't want / need a 24 lb bike as I will probably break it.  I'll keep looking but let me know if you have info.  Thanks!!  [smiley=beer.gif]
