Strangely, I've just done a search on completed listings for "Oz" or even just "Proflex", pro-flex" etc and can't find a single carbon frame that has sold recently.
Anyway, hopefully someone who will appreciate it has got a bargain! Maybe we'll see them popping up on here quite soon! <SMILE>

I have to ask, why did you give up mountain biking? I can't really imagine any other kind of biking being half as fun. Road bikes are useless on the 99% of Earth's habitable land that isn't paved.

I got bit by the road bug back in 2001 just after I built up the OZM.    I live in Downtown Chicago and I was getting tired of driving to  Kettle Moraine in Wisconsin or to Palos every weekend inorder to hit the dirt and eventually put 1" slicks on the OZM for the lakefront.   While the 1" tires made a HUGE difference a just had to build up a Road bike which wound up being the K2 MOD5 which I went thru two of those frames as well as some others.   I am selling off the OZM in parts inorder to fund a new bike build that I want to get complete before the spring.

I can get the desire to have an efficient bike for road riding, but shocks with lockouts can accomplish that much (the lockouts will be automatically overridden in case of a severe impact, to avoid damaging the shocks), and the bike will still be usable off-road too. Even if it only goes off-road when you have to bail off the path to avoid hitting something, having a bike that doesn't curl into the fetal position and go to its happy place when it hits rough ground is a good thing when dodging an obstacle.
