While trolling on Ebay, I noticed this frame with the mentioned difference.  Anyone know why this frame has it?  Was it only for a specific sizes or ?

Ive never seen this before. I think the welds look a little prouder than the rest on the frame so recon its been added. Maybe the seat post cracked and was repared like this?

Your link sends me to a listing of Pro Flex stuff, it doesn't send me to a single item. Are you talking about the dark grey bike? I can't see anything unusual about the way it's built.

Did the same for me at first. Its the yellow 5000 your looking for. Im sure its been welded on top.

They are calling it a medium frame, but I think it is a way big, it has the longer head tube.
