Hi there
I am also 6'1" with 34" inside leg and ride a 857 in a large size it seems to suit my needs well with good stand over height.
I use 100mm 8degree rise stem and 25mm rise bars as a easy not too bent over position, original set up too long and too bent over for me ok for the 90's racer.
Actual measurement centre of bottom bracket to centre of top tube is 20" hope this is a help.
Pete

I'm 6'3" and the Way Big was ideal for me (I have 36" inside leg too) so would think Large is right for 6'1" with 'normal' legs  :o :)

yep Large frame (or 18 inch early proflex frame) will suit you.
