Nope- different pivot setup entirely, I'm afraid.........xp- frames have the same setup as *55 and *56.

The XP-X uses the World Cup frame design, same as the 756, 657, and 757. The 857 uses a newer frame design with a different pivot point, and the swingarm is longer to compensate. There is no carbon swingarm available for the World Cup frames, but the stock swingarm is made from hollow aluminum so it's pretty light to begin with.

If you're looking to improve the ride quality of your XP-X, buy a Noleen NR-4 shock from NoleenJ6; the bi-directional damping controls will make a big difference in pedaling efficiency. If you just want the carbon-fiber look, I can't help you.

If you want the carbon-fibre effect then look at getting some vinyl wrap.

If you want real carbon-fibre then it seems you're out of luck unfortunately.

Thanks. Nr4 shock looks the part from NoleenJ6 just a shame they don't deliver to the uk as i could do with replacing my girvin gdt coil setup on the rear. all ready got an NR2 on the front and that works a treat.
As for the swing arm think its time to leave that alone and may be  get it re powder coated and decals of the good old EBAY!! :)

Eh? They happily post serviced nr4 shocks to France.
Don't see why they wouldn't post to the UK. Are there US sanctions against the coalition government??
Warranty replacements due to cracks detected in time (since 1989):

Probably the differences in customs and taxes between the EU and the UK.
