Frame differences 85x and 95x

Hi guys,
I had a brief search through the forums and couldn't find anything but please feel free to tell me if I'm just reposting an old topic.
I am planning on entering a 24 hour race next April and am using that as an excuse to buy another proflex. I plan to build it up with light components to get in under the 24 lb mark.
My question is.....Are there any weight differences between a 95x and 85x frame? Or were the weights merely due to component spec? If there are i fully intend going for the lighter of the two (one would assume this to be a 95x)
thanks from downunder

The two replies above pretty say it as it is. The 95x was the higher spec and more expensive bike and although the 85x and 95x were made of different grades of aluminium, as bare frames they were pretty much the same weight all bare the paint. 95x still cost a fair bit more to buy today.

I believe the 95X were manufactured in the USA, whereas the 85X was manufactured in Taiwan.
I always thought the Aluminum grade was the same (at least on the X57 models - Easton Pro-gram aluminum).

My 955 cracked in a different area to the 855.
Seriously though, mine were near enough to be considered the same weight. The frames anyway.
If it helps, I have built up an 856 to be sub 11kg's. There is a thread on here somewhere. This bike has been raced at a few 24hour events and has been bullet proof.

aluminum was different ...i'd almost put money on it.. and i would put money on about where built...USA vs Taiwan.
identical frames other than carbon forks on the 957 vs aluminum on the 857
857 had that purdy purple, though
