The plane ride was a gift from one of the neighborhood kids whose dad was a dick.  He adopted me as his "real" dad.  It was all about 190 knots @ 1000 feet and too cool.

The people engaged in promoting the fly-ins, ground crew and flight crew are in love with the old crates.  It was a fantastic day for the old tech and I did have a wonderful time.  It is amazing that they flew these at 30,000+ altitude with insulated flight suits and oxygen in a non pressurized hull and big open windows in the sides.   It was one drafty old girl to be sure.  The loud was great as well.
