When I mounted a 34t cassette the derailleur couldn't completely pull away from the cassette. The top pulley on the derailleur and cassette would touch (while shifted into the 34t gear). Anybody else have this problem or find a fix?

Have you adjusted the small screw near where the derailleur attaches to the drop out? Could be that needs to be tweaked.

Are you running a short cage deraillieur with the 34t cassette? Long cage is recommended. Sometimes you can swap cages.

Fixed it
Turns out the chain was too long and the derailleur was trying to wrap up more chain than it needed to. Thanks for the replys.
