Ack, another 856 in my basement

Hello all,
So another 856 frame just landed in my basement...while trolling Craigslist for the Proflex-related posts I try to collect and post in the Buy/Sell toopic I came across a large, silver 856 frame (no fork) with a SpeedSpring conversion for $30...I happened to already have an SS-equipped Vector II in my basement just hanging on the wall, so I ponied up the cash and the 856 frame arrived a few days ago. In rebuilding the rear pivot I noticed that this one, too, has the pivot through-bolt hole drilled off center, as many had reported with their frames. Given the expense I incurred converting my 4000 to the ball bearing pivot I opted just to clean, lube and reassemble the stock configuration on the new frame.
So the bike is going together, which means one more reassembled 856 back on the road. The problem for me is that once I get one of these, I want to build it up with good, vintage parts. This one will likely sport Maggies, XTR M952 drivetrain and a set of XTR/Mavic 517 wheels I scored on eBay (hoping the pictured cassette is included too, but not betting on it). When will the sickness end!?!?!
Also, in a related note, I took my other 856 out this past weekend...this was the frame I originally scored for $50 on CL that started this whole mess. It's also the one on which I installed those titanium springs going on US eBay...and I'm happy to report that they seem to be right for both the front and back (with about half of the possible preload applied). I'm about 160 lbs and found the suspension to be responsive on quick hits, but not bobbing too much.
OK, I guess I actually have to get to work now...I'll post some pics of the new frame when I have a chance.
- Doug :-)
