Welcome to the new and improved Proflex / K2 Tech Forum!
Just wondering what your experience of using NoleenJ6 has been?I am having a total nightmare with them. I ordered some shock parts over a month ago for my own k2 razorback and they haven't arrived - Our average transit time for parts from scotland to california is between 9 and 12 days, so 32 days is quite a lot. I've emailled CJ but haven't heard anything. The reason I'm asking is that I frequently am asked to recommend noleen shock servicing agents...The upshot is that I can't ride my razorback in this weekends Singlespeed championships and have built up Jeff/Simons old carbon frame instead. This is a real shame because I also had the Razorback powder coated blue with blue glitter finish!!! The carbon frame build is 1 kg heavier than the razorback which doesn't help the old legs and the carbon proflex has a massive chain length differential which makes it very hard to get a good chain length. At the moment, the suspension bumps out using the chain which is not ideal. making the chain 1 link longer means that only 1/3 of the 16T rear cog actually has chain on it and it skips.Although, I am going to put in a noleen NR2 instead of the airshock (NR2 is 15mm longer) and this give another 3/4 inch of travel.
nope, didn't get a tracking number! I'll send a paypal reminder.pictures of the proflex carbon to follow - it's here in the office awaiting a new chain! BBQ's and 20 cans of beer ready to get packed.
