Well, after my entire dealing with Risse I get the feeling that the move was just a difficult transition for them. I'm actually considering a new set of Risse's at some point and they'll be new if I can't find them used (which I'm working on). They make nice product and historically have stood behind their goods. IMO if you plan on holding onto the bike for a while you might as well get 'em soon...if you think about their business model - making products for obsolete bikes - it's probably not a hugely profitable one for them...so it's safe to say they're not going to make 'em forever. I have 3 and now they all work like a charm!

I ordered and received my Gensis for the Girvin in about two weeks. I think Doug's comments are correct. I think they're pretty busy and a phone call seems to work best for getting questions answered and order status. I sent a few emails that weren't responded to, but they usually answered the phone and were helpful.

Good to know you got your shocks.
I had been riding my 956LE back and forth to the college here trying to break in my Vector with the Genesis on it. Last evening I took it up into the mountains and gave it a good thrashing and am very pleased with it now. I set the rake out as far as it would go, and the J-Path is nowhere near what my crosslinks are. The vector puts some more leverage on the shock to achieve the travel as the crosslink does, so the shock responds better. I could never get rid of the harsh stroke on my crosslink.
My vector with the risse is the best girvin I ever had and think it's a keeper.
