d-monkey size: medium same as small?
« on: June 23, 2003, 01:59:03 am »
Hi!

The 'geometry' section of the '02 K2 website sez that the medium and small disco monkeys (EVO frames) are very similar.  In particular, I'm interested in whether the 'standover height' for the medium and small is really the same.  Has anbody out there compared the two?

I've have a small, my buddy has a medium.   Standover seems the same.  His TT is longer.

I've got medium and large 98 5000's, and the only real difference is in the top tube length. Standover height just isn't all that important to bike fit. (Until your feet slip off the pedals that is!) Top tube length is much more difficult to fiddle with without affecting handling, so that's where the different sizes differ most.
