Peace offering.
« on: August 31, 2008, 11:46:40 am »
Hi chaps, could anyone tell me what size they think this may be, peace offering
Mrs Tel is still looking to swipe back her XPX and I thought this might just make her change her mind, she has a large 857 but says it feels a bit clumsy compaired to the XPX which is a medium, having ridden them both I think shes right could be the rear swing arm flexing or could be the longer top tube.
The listing says 18" but from measuring the XPX and then being sent back to the celler to meassure it properly by someone here (theoretical top tube measument and all that) I dont want another large. any educated guesses greatly welcomed.
 Cheers, Tel.

Definately not a small. Top tube looks to be relatively long to boot.

I'd say it's definitely a Large

Mediums have the top tube bend ahead of the seat tube/mast join point.
Large's have it exactly at that point.

see my medium XP-X

Here's a Large:

and a small for completeness!

I see what you mean about the top tube bend Colin and your right its a large, oh well we will have to go back to squabbling ove who gets what next ride. When you think about it though its not a bad problem to have! ;D
Many thanks to every one for your help and to Kiwi for the tidy up, Tel.
P.S. can anyone else make use of it, it still looks nice.
