Replacement elastomer Girvin shocks?

Hey guys, first time poster here.  I've been out of the biking loop for almost 10 years now.  I borrowed a friend's bike and went riding the other day for the first time in a while and I want to get back into it.  I bought a fully suspended Proflex in 1996ish with the elastomer Girvin shocks.  I've done a little research and found out Proflex went out of business quite a while ago.  My question is does anyone know where I can buy replacement shocks if I can at all?

I don't remember the model off hand.  I'll check tonight and take a pic.  Yes, I'm in CT.

Model is a 755.

you may still be able to get elastomers from Iron horse who still have some parts from K2.If you go to the stickied thread at the top of the page,the PLACEHOLDER one there is a lik there to a thread re iron horse contacts...read the thread to see who is the latet contact.I think the Callum (RDS) is planning or hoping to get some too.The other alternative is to get a risse ,or if you are handy make some adapters to suit other shocks.

Hate to dampen your spirits , but last time I spoke to Iron Horse, they only had front elastomers, and were too soft for me. I ended up using the harder of the two on the rear of my Newport.

If Callum can't help you, Risse could set you up with a Genesis or better for the rear shock. The Genesis is $198, and for the rear is a great shock. Personally, I would not put that much into a Vector, but would spend on a modern 3 to 4 inch travel fork. I am using a vector with a Risse genesis and although working ok, 2 inches travel is not my style.

Thanks for the help guys.  I actually ran into some luck at work.  A co-worker was big into Proflex and has a bunch of left over elastomers that he said he'd give me.  He's supposed to bring them in today.  We'll see what he has.

if they are hard,you may be able to get a few rides out athem nby warming them gently.When you install them dont use petro-grease,usea synthetic

great frame the 755/855/955 because you can build it up to be a very very light and extremely competitive bike with modern SRAM components.

A co-worker actually hooked me up with a Girvin ODS rear strut with the spring shock.  I'm still in need of the front elastomers though.  How much in US $$ for the MCUV1 with shipping to Connecticut?

it's all on the website - shipping is included.  I try not to use idriders as free advertising unless someone really is having trouble.
