I had them custom made at a local decal/sign manufacturer, they did'nt cost much which is fortunate as I've just rubbed some of the colouring of the top ones, so I've just removed them, typical I had always meant to lacquer over them, maybe next time.

Did your 4500 come all shiny? My 5500c is dull, have you had the frame and swing arm 'clearcoat' laquered?
From the pics it looks like you are in the UK. If so which county?

Yes I live in Hampshire England,my 4500 was shinyish, isn't clear coat laquered though I,ve always intended to do this. My bike I find (although you my find this strange) it shines up best using a fine coat of WD40 carefully applied (obviously avoiding rims and/discs) and buffed with a clean rag I also find it cleans up easier after a ride, give it ago you've nothing to lose, hope this is of some help.Simon. Thanks for that, I'm going to try WD40 on my 5500c right away. It's just that I also now own a brand new Oz-M (Large) frame, and it's clear coated, all shiny and nice. Another UK K2 / Proflex follower wants this Oz-M or my 5500c. The question is which one do I sell? The only difference is that on the Oz-M, the main triangle shines (the swingarm is dull) and the stickers look better - but if I could make my 5500c shine, I'll keep it. Saves the hassle of swapping everything over and drilling out the cable guides and refitting the HammerHead adapter.
I'm up in Worcestershire.
Hope you get better soon.

I wish I had your problem of which one to keep, however why not keep the Oz-m swap over the swinging arm (then you don't need to re-drill for the adapter), and instead of drilling out the cable guides for the brake hoses fit some hose adapters they're cheap and look good, check my gallery(Simon) again see what you think hope I haven't confused matters, thanks for your concern I'm fine now and had a good ride out at the local country park at the weekend, let me know what you decide and how the WD 40 worked out.Simon. Be carefull if you got stickers. The solvent in WD-40 will loosen them up. [smiley=coolfrown.gif]

Yes I know this can be the case, however having used WD40 on my 4500 for 4yrs I never had any sticker detoriation in fact I recently removed the standard stickers for some custom ones I had made although the swinging arm ones are still origional, and I had hell of a job getting the original ones off, it seems K2 use high quality stickers.
