My recent projects.
« on: December 24, 2007, 09:39:34 am »
Had some time off, so I thought I would sort out these bikes a bit and show them off.
Made by Serotta for Offroad. Debut of the Proflex name in 1990.

Note no pivot at rear wheel, swingarm formed from fork legs.

The Newport was marketed as a Hybrid in 1995, so I decked out as such. Note lack of high pivot.

Both bikes lack any front suspension but for the flexstem.
They are amazingly agile, and have a lively feel in the frames. The Offroad can really muster some speed, before getting wiggly.

Back to wrapping.

I had a vector set that I used. Purchased from Iron Horse about 1 year ago. Did not work well for the vector, but I was able to beef up for these bikes.
