Might be too late but this guy had a few bike bits for sale including a rather cosmetically tatty 753 frame for £30 (which icludes the bits you need)... he's a top bloke though so it's kosher.

check the side of the pivots 1992 are flush with plastic caps.. 1993 should slope towards the pivot pinch bolts and if i remember wright have rubber caps? look at my swing arm and compare it..yours is a gen 2..
http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd24/purplegerbils/IMG_2810.jpg

also where pivot goes through frame 92 had triangle plates and a spacer..93 had just a tube.. bike in your photo looks like a 552

here is a close up of mine. By the way, (and sorry for hijacking your thread here), I've noticed that the swingarm on mine tends to move off-centre along the pivot bolt as there is nothing to stop it doing so - is it missing something?

just looking through the original handbook that came with my pro-flex and it says the pivot bolt needs to be 270 inch pounds if you got a torque wrench. the swingarm should fall under its own weight with no wheel or seatstay attached so tighten the pinch bolts according.. other than that you might have some wear and tear and should return to your nearest dealer (lol) as these are meant to be maintenance free so says the handbook..

are those 753 stickers original? as they did the 552 in white most popular in blue though. is that a quill stem 1 1/4" if so i have a black flexstem lying around you can have for nowt also some rigid threaded pro-flex forks but they only fit 16" frame.used them for about 3 month back in 1993 then swapped to vectors.

I assume the stickers are original...I bought it off a guy in Long Eaton a year ago. He'd had it from original. It's not a pure white but pearlescent...

Yes it is 1 1/4 and I would love to have the flexstem - want me to collect or can you post? What's the length of the steerer on the forks as it's a very short headtube on the 753?

cheers
