V-brake post filler?
«

I just mounted up some BB7 discs on my 4000 using the Hammerhead adapter. I pulled out the v-brake studs while I was at it, which leaves a couple of pretty big holes in the carbon swing arm.
Does anyone know if these holes are sealed? Will water get into the swing arm if I leave these open? Or should I try and find a way to plug these up?

I use clear caulk on my H20 bottle holes and it works perfectly!

So, are the holes thru or blind? Inquiring minds want to know.

The ones in my 4000 are blind. I just pushed some foam in there to keep dirt out of the threads.

The clear caulk is a good idea, I think I'll go with a dab of that. Now the question is, which brand is the lightest? ;-)

Get some button head screws from your local hardware store.
