Proflex 550

Hi All,
I have been riding what I was told was a Proflex 550 for about four years. Have logged about 5000 miles ( road, charity to NYC) and need some help getting the rear end retro'ed to something I can have serviced. The current rear sus. has two urethane bumpers on a solid metal rod. Sorry so vague, but I just ride it... Any ideas ....??
thanks
