Hey.  I am new to the forum and could use some advice on my new 755.

On the Risse website, they say that their rear shock works on the 855 but does not mention the 755.  Are the frames essentially the same?

Also, has anyone used the replacement elastomers from Rapid Descent?  Are they any good?

Thanks for the information!

For your first question the 755 and 855 are exactly the same bike the only differece was componets. So yes the risse shock will fit your bike. As for elastomers from Rapid Descent you can bet that Callum would'nt sell anything he wouldnt use himself, and he also does extensive testing on his products before offering them up to us. So either path you choose you'll be good to go

I don't know. My 755 frame can only accept a new elastomer, not a shock. It has the uninterupted seat stay. I think replace elastomer is your best bet.

Really, I was under the impression that all the X55 and X56 main frames were the same, i was aware that the struts were different, but thought everything else was the same. Anyone got a 755 with a risse shock. Sorry if i gave you bad info
