Girvin or Noleen or Eileen!!
« on: March 21, 2007, 03:48:51 am »
Hi Folks

Have just purchased these forks off Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140093925540&rd=1&rd=1

Can anyone shed any light on what make and model they are. I think the writing on the legs says Noleen. Will know more when they arrive in the post.

They are advertised as Girvin however they don't look like Crosslinks nor Vectors.

Cheers

Cool!

Is it custom made?
Doesn't look like any vector/girvin/noleen I have ever seen.

Ah, it's you that bought these! We've been discussing these over on Retrobike.co.uk - we came to the conclusion they are indeed Quasar.

Great thanks for that folks

now you mention it that name rings a bell.

I vaguely remember that name from back in the day when I got into Mountain Biking.

I am going to try and tidy them up and fit an air shock to them.
