Slightly off topic: noleen shock mystery
« on: August 18, 2006, 01:12:17 am »
Can anyone tell me if this shock on my San Andreas
http://s100.photobucket.com/albums/m10/orange71_2006/?action=viewĪt=SanAndreasshock.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1

is a Noleen as per this picture:

The decals have been removed from the one on my San Andreas and always wondered what it was. I only spotted the Noleen shock on Ebay after reading messages left on this forum recently.

Sorry - you'll have to copy the whole URL into your browser as for some reason it's cutting it off halfway along showing you the same image for both.

my best guess from looking at the photos would be....yes.

if you are looking for a replacement....get a Risse (if you can)

Those look like X-Fusion shocks.  I believe they made the Noleen labeled shock for the 2002 Disco Monkey.  My friend has a 2002 Disco and his shock does not look my my real Noleen from the 2000 Evo.

X-Fusion probably made the shock but were labeled Noleen.

Think back, late '90s. Noleen was state of the art for bike shocks. Que Pasa?

Meant DNM not X-Fusion.  DNM  made shocks for U.S. OEM in the early 90s.  I know the 2002 Disco Monkey had a DNM (not X-Fusion) shock labeled Noleen.  Don't know about early than that.
