just added riser bars to my K2

I recently got around to adding 2.5 inch Easton Monkey bars to my K2 5000, and wow, what a difference.
it puts my weight farther back on the bike. its just a little bit farther back, but it really tips the scales. it is so much easer to lift my front wheel over obstacles, to do wheelie drops, and even without trying, my front wheel will roll over objects easier.
if you haven't done this upgrade yet, I highly recommend it.
I only need to lengthen one cable... the rear brake cable is too tight now.

Chainsaw,
I did that upgrade last year and wonder why it took so long for me to do so. It gives much better control of the bike in all situations, and is a hellofalot more confortable on street rides. Definitely recommended.

2 1/2 " ? You referring to the rise. Whoa! That will put you in a different position. If you ever get a chance, try the Monkeylite's. There's a reason people spend the money on them, besides the looks. Find them cheaper on Ebay. Rich
