check this out---- rear shock?
« on: April 20, 2006, 02:31:09 am »
hey everyone----
check out my gallery for the 555 rear shock image.....this is an image that was sent to me, but the guy doesn't know who makes this spring.....bike is for sale on craigslist New York.....Anyway, this shock appears as if it would fit the '53 and '54 series as well---given it has the same rear triangle/swingarm....and since Rapid Descents doesn't make springs for early models, right? Anyone know who's spring this is?????????
Also---has anyone adapted one of Rapid Descents rear Springs to fit early proflex's????

I think it is a stock shock that the guy removed the sponges and replaced with a spring. SWEET!!
