1998 Proflex Animal - need to replace ODS
« on: May 05, 2003, 07:07:54 pm »
I have a 1997/1998 Proflex Animal with the front/rear ODS shocks. They have dried up and I need to replace both front and rear units.

I've read that MountainSpeed has some rearspeed springs to replace the rear ODS, but I've found nothing to replace the front ODS.

How difficult is it to replace the rear ODS with a spring? Can anyone outline what needs to be done?

Does anyone know of a replacement for the front ODS?

Thanks in advance,

Mike.

I guess you mean that the yellow mcu "springs" have gone hard. You can replace the yellow mcu with new ones or you can fit springs to your ods dampers.Callum at   RDI has springs to suit the ods units.I am not sure that mountain speed still does the speedpro kit.An alternative for the rear might be this
