Holy crap!  Did  you see the bruises on that guy?  163 KMPH!  It looks like the frame broke.  He's a downhiller, I'd suggest cast iron next time instead of carbon!
5K Large with Monkey Lite, Deore RapidFires, LX Crankset, XT r. Der., LX f. Der., Avid brakes, Stratos Helix Exp., Mavic rims, SRAM 990 cass. & chain.  29 lbs. on bathroom scale!

Duuuuude! That is so cool! (I mean, after all... he did live through it... and he did know the risks...)

Looks like the down tube separated from the head tube. That's the danger of having more fork than frame. Then again, a broken fork would probably be worse...

I was on ski jumping team in 8th grade and used to think those extended, high speed wipe outs were so cool. Even when I had them. All the coolness went away when we graduated to the 60M jump and the wipeouts got a little more medical. Better to watch than do I say! [smiley=beer.gif]

And he actually had a push start to get going!

I was surprised or maybe I missed it....I'd be wearing full body armour if I ever attemped that kind of stunt.

Reminded me of Evil Knievel in Las Vegas a wee bit.
