Proflex wins in spanish cup

Dear all,

last sunday the second race from the Spanish Cup took place in Avilés. In the first race, in Pontevedra, our riders got a modest result due to the early dates in which it was held. Carlos Coloma was sith and Ivan Álvarez was seventh.

This sunday, however, the feelings were much better. Both of our riders have been racing during march and this has been very positive to increase their shape. After
a very fast start, where both Proflex riders were in front, a group of three riders went away. Those three riders were Carlos Coloma (Proflex), Antonio Ortiz (Specialized) and  Alejandro Díaz de la Peña (Maxxis).

With two laps and half to go, Carlos pushed hard and opened a gap of almost a minute and a half. In the last lap, he just controlled the difference and arrived to the finish line with more than a minute in front of Ortiz. Ivan had his own battle with Ruzafa (Orbea), but couldn't keep the pace from the Orbea rider. So finally, 5th position for him.

With this result, Carlos is now 3rd in the overal classification, just 6 points from the leader jersey. Iván is fourth.

This is a great result, as the main goals of the season are still far in the calendar, what proves the great pre-season that both riders have done.
