Manitou Minute :04

Anyone tried the Minute series forks from Manitou? I think the new :04 is pretty hard to beat for an all-around trail fork (on paper, that is). Handlebar mounted infinite travel adjustment is VERY appealing, and at only 4lbs, it would be hard to beat the weight. I'm not sure that SPV is the way to go for a fork though. I love it in my rear shock, but I've always thought forks should be a little more plush. However, since I've never tried it, I can't say for sure.
If you have a fork that you think is the best trail fork ever, I'd like to hear what it is. (And please, no X-link or other Noleen forks. I know they're great for XC, but they ain't "trail" forks!)

While my '05 Minute 1:00 isn't part of the "new crop", I can say that i'm very impressed with it. Coil main spring, SPV and a very good feel.
The new line up of Minute, with No Tools SPV, APPEARS to be a god-send, IMHO. The original design had a big flaw, IMHO. When the volume is reduced there's a pocket formed for dirt and rocks to fall into/sit in. The No Tools SPV APPEARS to have resolved this problem. (appears - because I only have pics from their site to reference, which may or may not represent production pieces).
32 mm stanchions? Sure, no problem. Stiffer is better, right?
Infinite Travel? Uuuhhhhmmm, ONLY, and I mean O-N-F'n-LY if it's not the same crap they put in the 04/05 Nixon's. If it's the same stuff then run.... run away.
I'd buy one if i was still after SPV.

I can't say for certain, because I just installed it and have 1 total ride on it, but I really like the Marzocchi Marathon SL. It's not a "pedal-platform" type fork, but I agree with Matno - forks should be plush.
Even though the fork is still in its break-in period, I can say it's ultra plush, and it's sub 4 lbs. The only drawback is that's it's a fairly complicated set-up - with two positive air chambers and a negative air chamber to balance, along with a compression setting and rebound. That's a lot of chambers to fill with air and dials to turn. The Psylo on my Evo just has the U-Turn and rebound.
