anyone interested in a risse?
« on: February 14, 2006, 01:30:07 pm »
after much soul searching, ive decided i might possibly sell my risse astro 5 (basically im skint). ive decided to see if i can sell it to someone on the forum before trying ebay. only problem is im not sure how much to ask? the shock in question came with the frame i bought off simon (so there is no doubting its parentage) it holds pressure really well and has only the odd cosmetic mark on it. it would also come with the spacers needed to fit it to a carbon frame. im loathe to sell the shock but if i get a good enough offer then i will sell it.

I'm still running my original one on my carbon so if it is better than that how much do you want for it?
K2 carbon, XTR mechs, XT v-brakes, Mavi cross ride wheels, XT chainset and lovely Pace RC38LTs.
Custom built Cougar, Ultegra allover for those roadie days

thats the problem im not sure how much theyre worth i know theyre £245 new and obviously this one isnt but i dont just want to give it away as i said in the original post its only a possibility that i will sell it, if my items sell thats on ebay at the moment then i could afford to keep hold of it, its all a bit up in the air at the moment but i would be open to offers.

Hey there Hopster,

Simon is right, I sent it to him. It came from SDmike's 4000. I bought the frame and shock from him to back up my Oz. I recall that it is a Terminator, top of the line by Risse.

Why don't you list it as what YOU bought it for, with OBO? Just a thought.

You should also post a pic or two of it for those that are tempted greatly by the "Ooooooh, aaaaaah" factor.

What's skint? I don't wanna know if you're naked! [smiley=laughing.gif]
