has anyone ever wondered about getting a `k2+proflex riders group` jersey printed so all of us can `ride with pride`?  (cool eh!)  just a thought but i for one would definately buy two as long as they went up to xxxl   ;D  trouble is ii wouldnt have a clue where to start but im sure there is someone on here with a contact or 2.  we could always have a sort of mini competition to design a shirt!  opinions please!!!

sarcarm is just one of my many qualities.

If you can get plain jerseys you could probably go to any screen printers, theres a shopping centre in Leeds near me which prints anything onto pretty much anything

ProFLEX? I don't want flexy suspension. :-[ (sorry guys!)

I'd be in for one or two.

Do they come in tall AND skinny? ;D (J/K! well, kinda)

Get out your Crayola's Jeff and get cracking.  [smiley=laughing.gif]

This company is in the UK and we get them to do our ones for the RAF, they are very good quality.  The site has all the prices for all types of cycling clothing, have a browse and see what ya think.

jeffhop,

yes, a K2/proflex riders group jersey is a stupid idea. However, I am stupid enough to think that its a good idea. 8) my vote is for voler sports (http://www.voler.com)

they have a free ride jersey which is a perfect base for our group jersey. they have in-house designers to help with the design.

I personally think we could start with the logo at the top left of the website and go from there. I vote for a simple design, perhaps a bit retro with a horizontal band or stripe around the middle. I'm not into any kind of bright colored thing. maybe light gray as the base color.

any other ideas?

I vote that we do the design contest and go from there.  My wife is a graphic artist and has tasted the trail on her mountain bike.  She designed and created the Merry Cranksters logo at www.merrycranksters.org (it is really nice in color) and helped me with the local club logo I started.  She would be willing to take a shot at it.  She is apt with Photoshop and Illustrator.  Do we want a picture showing the history (the good years) or something else.  I have a good relationship with a local silk screener that did a good job on our club T-shirts as well.  I will call them and check on the costs for jerserys.

have you got a contact for making riding jerseys?  shout if you need one.  I have a UK contact but to tell you the truth it is going to be way cheaper doing this in the USA than UK.

minimum order is usually 25 or so - but I'm happy to take some risk and buy the extra ones and make available online for future folks joining up.  We should really check with K2bike about using their trademarks - I am sure they'll be happy enough since we're all satisfied customers and not  doing this for any profit.

cheers

This place might be an option. Not TOO expensive. (But the custom jersey thing usually isn't cheap, no matter what. Kind of painful for a guy like me, who cringes at the thought of paying more than $10 for a jersey...)
