nice new frm webstem 10mm shorter than the race face one it replaced and 90gramms lighter
carbon bottle cage no logos! well it had to be didnt it
spesh body geom grips (they actually work)
and this is what it all looks like now
ive also ditched the race face seatpost and got an inline ringle one now to further shorten the cockpit, so there we are if the pics dont work i will look a bit silly

Wow!
Your Oz just looks stupid fast! Nice job.
As far as losing another 2 lbs, good luck. It's all up to shaving grams on bits and pieces now.
Put that puppy on the scales. Inquiring minds want to know.

Congrats Jeff! Glad to see you got the pic posting working.
I knew I shouldn't have looked when I saw Oz in the thread title. [smiley=disbelief.gif] Mmmmmm, all the carbon. [smiley=nod.gif]
Looks GREAT man!
Oh, likewise what Terry said. The carbon bits, stem, tires, wheels.... you're gonna be a broke man to drop much more weight off the Oz.

I have a great way of shaving 99% off the weight of the bike! - you post the gorgeous thang to moi! - and keep the carbon bottle cage.
cheers Dan [smiley=beer.gif]

the weight of the bike as it stands now is 27lb, ive identified a few places where i think i may be able to shave a pound off it for a smallish outlay, seat and post: currently weigh in at 265 and 294 grams, tyres and tubes: currently weigh 540 (each)/170 (each) but are hard to puncture so will stay on over the winter, cassette is a basic 9speed sram probably over 300grams. i could also possibly change the steel brake discs for ti ones the list could possibly be endless and expensive!

27 lbs is good Jeff!
The seat I have is a WTB Shadow V Stealth at 195 grams, seat post is easton CT2 at 170 grams. The seat is just comfy enough and the post gives alittle to compliment the seat. I am happy with both. Also I picked up a carbon color clamp that weighs 18 grams.
Your tires are bombproof, I would not change. The tubes I am currently using are Bongtager superlites at 90 grams each, and come in a 2.3 size for my Mutanoraptor 2.4. Holding up better than Maxxis flyweights, they would split at the seem.
Never seen ti rotors before, hmmmm, but Stan's makes a coated aluminum one.
How about pedals?
Good luck,
Terry

Hey Jeff, don't waste your time with the Ti rotors. It's been a well documented fact (check on MTBR) that they, honestly, suck.
The Stan's coated aluminum rotors that Terry mentioned are holding up reportedly well so far. Watch which pads you need with them.
Damn! 27 pounds. [smiley=blankstare.gif] < blank stare of jealousy

Jeff, what hubs spokes and rims are you using, can't quite make them out,
weight loss in this area makes the biggest ride difference IMHO,though yours maybe light weight items anyway,
Ti railed saddles are always a nice addition,
hope the ride is as good as you hoped, glad its gone to home that appreciates it.
Simon.
