What year proflex/k2?
« on: September 11, 2005, 11:03:52 am »
I finally replaced my  [smiley=furious.gif]stolen evo with a beast that my dad had lying around.(he has a SC superlight and a scapel....grrrr)

I took it out the other day and aside from a front shock that i hate(uturn duke '04, I like my shocks real hard and with no air I cant get it as hard as i would like it. already installed the stiffest springs) It was ok, not nearly as nice as my evo, but better than riding my hardtail over those trails *ouch*. :o

But i was curious as to the year model. It is black and red. The red is kinda like the bike was cut open. If you have seen it you know what i am talking about.

I think the most telling characteristic is the shock that goes through the post that supports the seat/top tube.
This bike must weigh 40 pounds, but I am happy to be riding again. [smiley=laughing.gif]

Thats sounds like the same frame style as the Animal,
so I think its circa 1998,remember testing one at around the same
time as testing the 4500/5500
